Every year on 5 and 6 August, the Panigyri (traditional festival) of Doliche is held, established on these dates in honor of the Feast of the Transfiguration of the Savior.
On the eve of the feast, 5 August, the Great Vespers are celebrated at the Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior, while on the following day, 6 August, the festal Divine Liturgy is celebrated at the Church of Saint Demetrios.
During the evenings of the celebrations, the Cultural Association of Doliche organizes a folk-music and dance event in the village’s central square, featuring dance groups. Traditional food, such as souvlaki and sausages, as well as drinks, is offered to visitors. Each year, several hundred people gather at the event, contributing to the vibrant and festive atmosphere of the village.
